Blogging सुरु गर्दा त म एक दमै नयाँ कुरा गर्न लग्या छु जस्तो लाग्याथ्यो अनी हाम्रा नेपाली दाजु भाई हरु ब्लगगिङ म एत्ती अग्गडी पुगि सक्नु भएको छ भन्ने थाहा नै थिएन । नेपाली Bloggers  हरु को भिड मा अर्को अेउटा blogger थपिएको छ। खै कत्ती ब्लग गरिन्छ त था छैन तर so far so good राम्रै चल्दै छ संसार भरी का साथी भाई हरु मेरो साईट भिजिट गरी दिनु भैइराछ and I am Enjoying it. I guess I will Keep Blogging then.

“I have a dream”, this is not my line but a famous saying of Martin King Luther Jr. who dreamt of equalizing the rights of African American in mid nineteen hundreds. I have a dream too and my dream is to make our country, Nepal a heaven. The definition of my heaven is a bit different though. Heaven to me is just a perspective and let me share my perspective of Nepal. Since we are all shouldering the era of transforming our country into new era let me call that heavenly Nepal a “Naya Nepal”

Ok! what do I dream of, I dream of Nepal with no load shedding. I grew up on an era when I had to look up the meaning of word “Load Shedding” in dictionary when it started in early 90s. Mind you, there was no wikipidia those days and I had to pay the cyber guy a hefty price per words to receive the emails that my father wrote from Netherland. Needless to say that our privacy was highly protected as he read all our emails just to count the words and not really see any thing on that email.

I dream of Nepal with no “Curfew Hours” and this was yet another word that got added into my vocabulary around mid 80s. Now for at least last fifteen years or so I have dreamt of a days without Chakka Jams or Nepal Bandha. And even so recently I am dreaming everyday about a Kathmandu valley where there wouldn't be ever lasting queue for Petrol and people could would not have to fight in the line of Kerosene. Then I dream about a New Nepal where stinking garbage would just disappear from the face of earth as if they were never there.

I dream of Nepal as a giant energy hub of the South Asia that has grown up to be the mere-source of clean hydropower energy which has contributed to be the most promising Carbon foot print reducer, a green house gas controller and Global Warming calmer. I dream Nepal of being a major exporter of the Drinking water supply. After abandoned free water supply for our country, I dream of Nepal’s water being mineralized, bottled and shipped to all of the Middle East countries.

I dream Nepal of being the safest place for tourist where they can move freely without fear for their lives and visiting both the lord Buddha’s birth place and Mount Everest. I dream of Nepal where no one in this world is allowed to be confused or misinformed that Mount Everest is in China and Buddha was born in India
 
Lastly I dream of Nepal where we have an uncorrupt politician who would strive harder to make these dreams of mine and other twenty some million Nepali true. Among all my dreams the biggest one is to wake up one day and find out the last decade of my time has not been wasted in petty fights and bloodbath of thousands of Nepalese and I can go and walk freely in any part of my country without being scared of getting strangled into any kind of insurgency or cross fire. And I dream of Nepal that would not have lost its course of direction for another decade.

What do you all say? If you share the same dreams then lets work towards it and let’s not wake up after a decade and again dream to make our dreams come true!!!

When I started this web site I thought it would be really easy. Every one in this world is doing this so why can’t I. Let me very clear and commend every one who has been continuing this for so long. Could it be because they are blogging to earn their living? Huh, I don’t know for sure but I have a hunch that only 10% of the blogger out there are successful in making enough of off this blogging business. I surely don’t see how. Unless all the blogger in this planet and mars come out here and shine light upon me.

            When I started Bloging I had no idea where thing are internet wise, I mean when I left the backend portion of the website development little more than a decade ago, people were still writing in HTML and as a matter of fact I remember I was so excited to learn how to make a toggle button and even more excited to create a hyperlink that would take me to some one else’s webpage with a click. Look at it today, I myself find my website primitive just because I don’t have that cool stuff yet. I don’t know if web-life has become easy or it has just become tougher and I am getting old in this tech savvy world. What I know for sure though is if it were not for this blog I would never spend a time in trying to understand why some websites look cool and some just looks stale. I now know a lot than I knew a week ago about all these blog sites and as a matter of fact not too far away from making my website little flashy itself.

Guys you tell me how can I improve and even make many of you stay and read these articles by doing so if I convince to get you to click one or more google pop-ups I would not mind that either. Common people suggest me and give me your brilliant ideas out here all right? I need to switch my blog from just blogging to make it a cause for living. I know it is not impossible though it seems unattainable for a while again I like to be optimistic and remember that ROME was not built in a night.

फोटोमा देखिएका व्यक्तिको परिचय अमेरिकाको एक साताभन्दा लामो भ्रमणपछि आज फर्किएका प्रधानमन्त्रीले गराएका छन्। प्रधानमन्त्री प्रचण्डका अनुसार उनी प्रधानमन्त्री कार्यालयका ‘कम्प्युटर अपरेटर’ हुन्। छोरा प्रकाश दाहाललाई किन सरकारी खर्चमा अमेरिका लगेको भनेर विमानस्थलमा पत्रकारहरुले सोधेपछि प्रमले उनलाई ‘छोराको हैसियतमा हैन, प्रम कार्यालयका कम्प्युटर अपरेटरको हैसियत’मा लगेको स्पष्टिकरण दिएका थिए। आफ्नो भ्रमण टोलीमा सरकारी खर्च पाउने १० जना मात्रै रहेको उनको जिकिर थियो।

NEPALI STUDENT KILLED IN TEXAS

I am once again deeply saddened, angered, dismayed and grieved with this news that we lost one more friend; I am finding it really hard to express myself. The frequencies of such news have been ever increasing. I find it an utmost urgent that we should spread this word to the younger generation back home that this country is not a bed or roses. If possible convince them to weigh their options around in their own country. Ashok Bhattarai who is the recent victim of this burglary/shoot out is not “no body” but he is a brother of entire Nepali community who are living abroad and trying to make their ends meet. We all arrive here thinking that this is the land of opportunity and it will make us a billionaire one day but see what happened.
 
 Now his dreams are shattered and his parents’ hopes are devasted. What happened with him hurts me and it hurts me the most because I left my country a decade ago with similar hope and dreams and I could very well have been the guy behind that counter. We all know where we come from and how hard it is for us to survive in this foreign country. Let us all pray for him together and hope that such terrible news will never hit our media again. Let’s unite to make us hear. People who have succeeded to come here before our generations and own such places like 711, motels or Gas Stations use these innocent people like Ashok and pay him below minimum wage and get their work done.
 
  Do you think the United States government is unaware of that, should not they do something? Ever worried about illegal immigrants in this country what I believe is that the government should go behind such employers and thoroughly investigate the employer so that they will not hire another new Nepali who lands in this country with hopes to change his life.

 I know a lot of debate will spur with this but what if the United States provides student loan for qualified students; just like it does for the permanent resident “Green Card Holder”. I can assure you that if we are allowed to even apply for these Federal loans then we won’t be racking up our credit card bills and hence would rather concentrate on finishing up the schools than trying to work on such cheap risky places. I know most of the people who land in this country have never done any of the work that we end up doing here and we do pick such jobs, not by choice but by compulsion of circumstances.

 While the Global economy is still in a mesh don’t you think the international society invests in future of these you people? Also it would be relevant to say that 80% of students who arrive here are already highly educated and any countries that are willing to invest in their future will surely get decent returns.
